Donna (Kleckner) Weida was born and raised in Logansport, IN. After high school, marriage and three babies, she and her family moved to Southern California where she stayed for 25 years. She moved back to the Midwest in 1987.

Her love for art began at very early age -- but her love of business won the tug-of-war and all of her formal training is in business. Donna founded Numbers & Words, Inc. (Full Service Employment Company) in May of 1989 in Logansport. She serves as President and CEO of this rapidly growing organization.

Donna was basically self-taught...always loving art and visiting shows and galleries throughout the United States and Europe.

During her early years she painted with oils and pallet knives. She didn't paint at all for 30 years -- just observed. In 1990 she discovered watercolors and more realism.

Donna especially loves to paint children, animals, florals and colorful scenes. Her paintings are realistic -- bordering on impressionistic. She says, "I like to paint pretty things -- things that please. I love capturing expressions and faces that tell a story. I put a lot of myself in my work...a lot of passion."

Donna has a studio in her home that she shares with her best friend and mentor, Joseph Fettingis.

Donna was published in the 1999 Who's who of American Artists, Who's who of American Women and Who's Who in Finance and Industry.

Donna was juried into the National Association of Women Artists in NY, NY in 1999.
