My painting history

I live in the UK and have been painting all my life. I am married with 3 young children and a very large allotment. Over the years my painting has developed from acrylics and mixed media into watercolour. I find this a very versatile and expressive medium. Wildlife and nature was an interest that inspired my painting for many years, but know I have my own models. My children give me endless inspiration as I try to capture their fun, energy and vitality. I love using bright colours and I think watercolour give a freshness that is achieved with no other medium. I have never been to art college,never even had an exhibition but I would still like to share my work with anyone who is interested.
