ABOUT THE ARTIST

Cassandra Russell love of art began as a small child in Toronto, Canada. After studying Philosophy and Child Studies at the University of Guelph, she attuned her creativity with several years of professional graphic design experience. Her travels have taken her to the art galleries of France, Italy, Switzerland, Trinidad & Tobago, The United States as well as Canada’s Rockies and East Coast. . She participates in art shows across Southern Ontario and is currently the Social Convenor for The Society Of York Region Artists (S.O.Y.R.A.). Cassandra believes that the mood of a space can be altered with by decorating with her art. Her focus is on generating watercolour images "that allow the viewer access to the present moment." Cassandra views original art as energetic addition to a living space.
