About the Artist

Georgine has been experimenting with paint all of her life. Over the years, she has developed her unique watercolor technique that emphasizes the vibrant color, design and detail she loves. She has incorporated it into her ladies, chilis, pottery, flowers and the intriguing designs of the Southwest. Born and raised in New York, she resided in Florida for 27 years and has lived in Nevada for the last 10 years. She has been on the Board of Directors of the Boulder City Art Guild in many capacities, this year serving as Vice-President. In April 2000 she was chosen as the "Featured Artist" in the Clark County Art Show. She has outdoor shows in Summerlin, Green Valley, Mesquite, Ely and Flagstaff. This year she had one-woman shows at the Valley of Fire State Park and the Lost City Museum in Overton. You can view some of her work in the Art Guild Gallery located in the historic Boulder Dam Hotel in Boulder City.
