Artist Jeanne Missell

As a chiild in the 1940's Jeanne colored photographs from her father's studio. There were no color photographs at the time. She painted all her life but upon retiring she fullfilled her life dream to take art classes chosing acrylic medium and participating in annual Art Shows successfully. Jeane has done commission work, including pictures of Lewis and Clark of the Louisiana Purchase for a new survey office. Also a private airplane watercolor for a doctor's office. She has done special floral, old farm and homesteads and frog pictures for a restaurant called The Frog Pond. She took tole painting classes and has had a business for over 12 years selling her art in various forms. At times she even taught oil, acrylic and tole painting classes. Her first love has been watercolor and has created a line of watercolor greeing cards.
