Julia is a well-known writer and broadcaster who has published no less than sixteen art and craft related books. Her illustrated cookery book Cattern Cakes and Lace has sold well in the States as well as being translated into many European languages. Her art conveys her love of the countryside and she has exhibited widely in UK and Greece. She is a founder member of The International Arts Festival of Aghios Nikolaos and a Member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists in the West Midlands, where she was born.
