Growing up on a farm in the 40's & 50's in Mississippi resulted in a special feeling for the land ,season's ,culture & People . Many experinces as fishing on a creek bank with a cane pole cut from it's banks the feel of the sun on your back picking cotton for $3.00 per hundred lbs. spending hours in the woods and fields smelling the special smell of a bay tree or wild jasmine. These emotions and love for the land is the reason I paint to share a moment if possible. Thank you for visiting my site.
