About the Artist

Mary Anne Durnin is a watercolorist who has long held a special interest in art. She loves the spontaneity and challenge of watercolors. Her love of color is evident in her paintings. Diverse subject matter and varied style are typical of her work. She is especially fond of florals and architecture, and also paints still lifes and landscapes. Her choice of subject matter reflects her extensive travel to gather material and inspiration.

Mary Anne is an active member of a number of art associations - Plano Art Association (board member/webmaster), Southwestern Watercolor Society, Richardson Civic Art Society. She has participated in the Southwestern Watercolor Society Juried Exhibition and a number of local and regional organization exhibitions. Her art and computer skills enhance each other in the development of her artwork and websites.
