Whitehill works exclusively in watercolor. Depicting scenes of the Hudson River and local Historical Buildings, she prefers working "plein air". She also enjoys painting gardens and floral still life paintings. She is a signature member of the North East Watercolro Society, Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, and Salmagundi Club of New York and has won many awards. Commissions are accepted.
