A self-taught artist and instructor born "with a paintbrush and pencil in hand",Pamela has been gifted with the ability to glean subjects from her imagination as well as from photographic reference and working en plein aire. Her artwork can range from illustration to fine art to interpretive and abstract. Pam's illustrations are happy and colorful, adapting well to the children's storybook format whilst her landscapes possess a unique ethereal quality, drawing her regular clients back for additions to their collections. In the past two years she has been experimenting with a bolder approach to color,mixed media and various types of supports for her watermedia paintings. The results have been successful in generating a new clientele for her artwork. As a teacher she endeavors to see that her students are relaxed in their approach to painting and are having fun. "I teach my students to enjoy the art experience above all. They learn the basics and,with practice, to express their emotions in their work. If you have no emotion for what you are doing, then you have no painting." Her work is in numerous private and corporate collections throughout the US and Europe. Pamela is available to take commission work for all types of painting. Photocopies and JPEG photos on disc are available for viewing. Quotes for commissions are available upon request.
