My Love is Painting

Thought for the Day: Happiness is like jam....You can't spread even a little without getting some on yourself! I currently resided in an adult community and had the good fortune of taking some art classes that a resident gives in our clubhouse. Once I got started I was hooked. I owe so much to that art instructor. Betty, THanks So Much!!! What a wonderful world painting has opened up for me. I look at everything and try to imagine how I would paint it. I first learned how to do oil paintings but then tried watercolors. My favorite is now watercolor and I do at least two paintings a week. I would love to do more but I still work and help out with caring for my 6 month old granddaughter. But every extra moment I have is devoted to painting. That is my time and I absolutely love it!!!!
