BACKGROUND

Steven Jordan is a native South Carolinian who has lived and worked as a professional artist in the Southeast for the past 25 years. He is a member of the American Watercolor Society, and has won numerous national awards. Steven has over 60 reproductions of original watercolor paintings to offer his admirers, and is well known for his use of vibrant colors and his mastery in representing the plays of light and shadow. These elements have become his trademark, as well as the alternative angles and focal points inherent in his paintings that other artist discard or include merely as background. Steven offers a wide range of subject matter as well as a diverse use of color. His work is available in his gallery in Mt. Pleasant, SC, as well as in galleries all across the country.
