Art in Alaska

The past four years I have been a full member of the Alaska Watercolor Society. I have served as treasurer for 1 1/2 years and currently as their corresponding secretary. My work has been praised for "gorgeous color", "great value", "wonderful warmth and coolness", "good uniformity of work", and "very creative and original". My art consists of watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, oil, ceramics, metal-smithing, guitar, piano, singing and dancing. These are all beautiful means of expression. My work is for sale and I occassionally teach beginning painting classes. My goal is to graduate with an interdisciplinary degree as am Art/Movement/Music Therapist. This is a degree that I put together and had accepted by the different department heads at UAA. Art is WONDERFUL and ESSENTIAL for EVERYONE!!!! Life so exciting and rewarding!!! Let's Create!
