SONIA P. LEGGETT

Originally from Middlesex, Sonia and her family moved to the rural county of Wiltshire in 1981. Sonia has had no formal art training, but has taken advantage of local evening classes and occasional weekend workshops. She works mainly in watercolour, with a particular interest in miniatures, but she also experiments with other water media and collage, working to a larger format. In addition to showing work at local and county art events, Sonia is an exhibiting member of the Hilliard Society of Miniaturists and the Society of Floral painters. She has also had work accepted for open exhibitions of the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers.
