Sue Dickinson

ART OUT OF AFRICA

Sue Dickinson studied BA (Fine Arts) at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. She has exhibited extensively in South Africa and also in France and Italy. She works in all media and has a special love of watercolor. She has been commissioned by SA Philatelic Services to paint several South African postage stamps, including:

Thulamela, an archaeological site in the Kruger National Park
Early South African History
National Arts Festival
Rugby World Cup
Thabo Mbeki's African Renaissance

Sue Dickinson is one of South Africa's emerging young artists. She paints a rich variety of subjects, including the human figure and African wildlife.
