About Arlette

Painting was always my first love but it was because of my nursing job on the Carribean island of St Croix,that my work took shape.The vividness of the colors, the beauty of the island led me to painting workshops and an association with the wonderful group led by Ed Whitney. Later classes were taken with Don Dennis, Frank Webb, Betty Lou Schemm and N.Y artists Josie Vargas and Elise Morenon.
I continue to exhibit and have combined some of these shows with "doctors of the world" and hospital exhibits.Thus uniting my two worlds.
