Welcome from the President. |

| Welcome to the 38th Annual Watercolor West Exhibit. Our distinguished juror, Barbara Nechis, has chosen an outstanding group of paintings to be displayed at the beautiful City of Brea Art Gallery. We thank all of our artists who submitted work and congratulate those artists who were selected for this exhibition and chosen for awards. Our organization is one of a very few who exhibit purely transparent-only watercolor paintings. We hope that this method of painting will continue to be practiced and will grow in popularity. Special thanks to Thomas Ciganko, Director of the Brea Art Gallery and to his staff. Their efforts contributed greatly to the success of our exhibition. We thank Barbara Nechis for her thoughtful choices and thank our donors for their generous contributions to our awards. Lastly, I thank the Watercolor West Board of Directors for their dedication, interest and hard work. They have made the job of President a delightful experience. It has been a pleasure serving you for the last two years. |
