Mid-Southern Watercolorists is a non-profit organization incorporated in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1970.The organization has approximately 250 members in seventeen states.
Thirty-three annual competitive juried membership exhibits have previously been held at the Arkansas Arts Center. This year's exhibit will be held at the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies in the spring of 2004.
Our goal is to elevate the stature of watercolor and educate the public to the significance of watercolor as an important creative, permanent painting medium. This organization furthers the interest of painters in watercolor by its programs and competitive exhibits, and shall encourage its study by art students and others engaged in watercolor painting.
Membership meetings of MSW are held monthly, except during the summer months.
